We usually eat there in late afternoon and never have any problem with the service. This may seem strange but I think you can tell a lot about an establishment by the restrooms. Theirs are clean, bright and modern with the towel dispensers and soap well stocked.
We have always found the food to be quite good. I particularly like the chicken scallopini . The salads that accompany most dinners aren't just a couple of leaves of lettuce without much else which passes for salads in many establishments,instead lots of veggies and croutons. I'm pretty sure the blue cheese dressing is homemade. There are many interesting old photos of the area mounted on the walls to browse while waiting for your meal.
I saw one review here complaining of slow service on Mother's Day. I think you will experience that just about anywhere on Mother's Day. My wife refuses to go out to eat on Mother's day, says she'd rather eat at home.

Worse service ever. We thought we would take our mother there for Mothers Day dinner. Understanding service in the past has been slow, we knew we would have to wait a little bit.
But when four tables are sat after you and serviced their food before you got yours on top of it being a 1 hour and 15 minute wait for our food you know there is something wrong. And that's just the start, we never got half of our appetizers, and when complaining to management they said what do you expect it's Mothers Day and the waiter came over an stated, so I should I still make.
This place doesn't even deserve a star.

Never again!!! Went there when they first opened and they couldn't keep up with the customers! Said I would never go back again! Well I waited a couple of years and decided to give them another try. NEVER AGAIN !! And I mean it this time! Waited forever to be seated and there wasn't even anyone there! Too aggravated to even finish this! Highlights I can do.....
1.You wait forever to be seated
2. You wait forever to place your order
3. You wait 20 minutes for salad to arrive
4. You order a $15 dollar meal and its not prepared the way it is on menu
5. You send it back and wait another 20-25 min
6. 2nd time dinner is still wrong
7. You tell waitress, who was clueless to take meal off of check because you can't eat it now
8. She still wants to charge you for the salad, (still clueless to how upset you are!!
9. High priced for a low class restaurant
10. I could go on and on, but not worth my time!!
Please don't honor this restaurant!
