The food at Gia Visto is absolutely fantastic, and the chef even whipped up some stuffed banana peppers for us that aren't on the menu anymore, which was such a treat! Every time I go, whether it's for brunch or dinner, the service is friendly, the atmosphere is chill, and I always leave excited to come back for more.

The food here is absolutely fantastic, especially the stuffed banana peppers the chef made for us, even though they're off the regular menu. I've been to a lot of restaurants in the Pittsburgh area, but this one stands out with its incredible Italian dishes and friendly service. I can't wait to come back and try more items, like the Salmon and the delicious desserts!

Great food; very distinctive flavors; good variety! It's BYOB, but once a month or so, Chef Erik offers a 5 or 6 course meal that paired with wine to compliment the menu items for a decent price. Dining room off to the side of the main room is crowded, and the chairs are rather uncomfortable. However, becomes very noisy when a lot of people come in to dine---nothing to absorb the noise in room. And sometimes the overhead music is questionable vs. the age and nature of the diners looking for a relaxing meal. It's located in a strip mall with a lot of disconnected business stores (beauty parlor, vap shop, Tokyo Massage) that rises above the main road (Old Wm. Penn Hgwy.). Hard to find if you are not familiar or looking for it for the first time.

Wonderful gnocci, but portion was very, very small, more like an appetizer portion. Price doesn't warrant the quantity compared to portion size at other four and five star establishments.
