Friendly, great staff, welcoming, owner Robin is usually there and mingles and greets guests. The outside bar and courtyard are very comfortable and draw a great crowd, especially when the weather is nice
The food I have had was great, especially the chicken quesadillas and the lobster/crab roll.

This is not the previous Sewickley Hotel, of which the less said the better. It's in the same location and simply called The Hotel. I've been there three times, and done takeout once, and can say that the service is friendly and efficient, the food is good, and the previous outdated decor largely gone. More to the point the food and presentation are vastly superior; I've had their chicken quesadillas several times and they are excellent. Others who've been with me likewise enjoyed their entrees. There is a very nice and long outdoor bar, as well as both indoor and outdoor seating. In short, it's an excellent addition to the fairly nice Sewickley dining scene.
