Aiea Grill is a nice, clean place to have some local food. The recipes are on par with any local drive-in in Hawaii, and the staff is quiet, but friendly.
I've talked to the owner a few times, and he's definnitely from Aiea, a very nice man, who's humble and proud of his restaurant!
The food, while a bit on the expensive side (albeit, competitive with the rest of the hawaiian places around this area), is tasty, portions are good and selection is plentiful.
One thing to add, if you're there on malasada day, don't forget to get a bag! While its no Leonard's malasadas, its still really good!!!
