I first dined at the Saigon shortly after they opened, and have been going there ever since. Very courteous wait staff. Nice, quiet dining environment, and delicious food.

In reading some of the reviews, I'm sorry for the criticism of the "older" man. He is really quite shy but very pleasant and has been good to offer my husband and I some vegetarian options which are very good for those looking for vegetarian dishes...we especially like the curry gluten with peanut sauce. I take it home and add extra potatoes and carrots which gives us enough for two meals that way. The food is consistently delicious and very flavorful! I can't imagine how it can be improved upon. The atmosphere suits us simple people just fine! It certainly doesn't keep anyone away who enjoys the food there! Oh yes! For an alternative to their s/s chicken, try their sweet and sour tofu! Yum!

We love this place for the good food and fair prices! It is one of our favorite Vancouver restaurants and we've been going there for over 15 years! Their soups and salad rolls are delicious and we've never been disappointed. Prices are very reasonable. Great for lunch or a casual dinner.

I was charged twice for my credit card transactions. I went back and told the owner and also brought my statement. He gladly refunded my money. All you have to to is ask, everyone makes mistakes. Food is great for the price. The soup has too much minerial and a little salty for my taste but everything else is great. salad rolls are wonderful. enjoy

I have gone to this restaurant for years and always enjoyed the pho' and sald rolls. I came to this site last night to get the number for the restaurant to place a take out order and noticed the review from urstruly, and of course was surprised. However, my husband and I are now too a victim of the price forging on card transaction. They forged our ticket and only noticed when balancing our account online. I am so disappointed!

Food was good. However...Once paid the bill, Noticed they ADD, More $ than I approved!! VERY DisHonest & crooks..... How Dare THEY!

Our family has been eating at the Saigon for about 10-12 years. The food is always great, and the service has been wonderful. You can split anything on the menu between two and walk away satisfied. The coffee is some of the best I have had in years.
