I recently ordered takeout from a local Chinese restaurant and was impressed with the service and quality of the food. Despite the price increase, the chicken in garlic sauce was flavorful and satisfying. My friend enjoyed the shrimp chow mein, and we both agreed that the portions were generous and the flavors were authentic. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience and I would recommend this restaurant for anyone craving Cantonese Chinese cuisine.

Great place, GOOD FOOD, never had a bad experience, always got everything and just they way I ordered it ! The people complaining are just a bunch of whining bitches that prob complain about everything anyway, no matter what they get !! 😂

Horrible! the food was molded in my soup, and the chicken was tastless. i couldn't even bite into my pork. disgusting and not worth the money. my dog turned her nose up at it. not worth it.

I could not believe my eyes young blonde girl was taking orders on the phone then going straight to peeling beans or something i have no clue but preparing food no less other guy on front was taken orders as well and then going back and laughing with her and then she would take orders play with her phone then prepare food take her phone out four or five times then playu with her hair then went back to pealing beans I cannot believe this, as lookin past tables and thru the kitchen across from it i can see no one uses gloves they all touch there hair and then prepare food, I can see that there is no proper dress code they walk in with there coat jackets purses and grab food and prepare food with stuff on it was the most disgusting experience i have ever been thru i could not believe my eyes

I have been eating here for a long time and will never go to another chinese restaurant. Whether it is pick up or delivery they are speedy to get your food ready and very personable. I do not have any complaints at all and have never received any food I did not love. This is my official vote ********** (10 stars)!! That's how good it is!!

I refuse to believe any poppycock written here about Cari Lee's China Villa making them sick and food being disgusting. These comments MUST be by someone causing trouble. I have been a customer of hers for over 10 years. First Jan Mee and now China Villa. Best Chinese take out in Maine and family owned by great responsible people.

I always order from them. Excellent, above average food! The folks that work there are very friendly and i never wait longer than they say for my orders.
I wish i had more money for take out, would eat there all the time :)
Some reviews are negative but i have never experienced and negative issues at all!

About a month ago wee ordered China Villa now I do love there food but they forgot my soup and the duck sauce was watered down my wife called and asked where was the soup and why was the duck sauce like water Kerry the manager replied it must have been a bad bunch of duck sauce, So we ordered again this evening there was missing items and the duck sauce was very watery and did not taste like duck sauce these people are trying to stretch a buck with the best part of the meal.
And every time I order something there is something missing, Plus others are telling me about the watery egg foo young gravy as well sure their food might be good but it is beginning to suck never again will myself nor friends and family ever waste our money on a restaurant that screws with their customers.

I walk to CV once a week and they are the only place I go for Chinese now. Never once had a bad meal best Chinese food in the area!

I am left wondering if the last reviewer is a Competitor of CV. Because I have been eating their food for over 20 years first as Jan Mee and now as China Villa and I have had nothing but the finest Chinese food that I have ever experienced PERIOD!!!

I ate at this restaurant last night. The food looked "recooked" to me and the chicken was chewy like it had been left out or reheated from another time. I ended up picking my meal all apart and it was really nasty food. I even spent extra money for all white meat chicken and was unable to eat very much just mostly rice. Here's the best part, today is the day after and i was up all night vomiting and sick. Today I am home from work and writing to warn you all! I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!

In my opinion in the Greater Portland area, China Villa is the best around. Over the past 2 years it is our "go to " place when we do not want to cook.

Not only is the food the absolute BEST around, the delivery is fast enough to ensure a 'just cooked' perfection. This is the only place for 'Chinese" !

The food is excellent as is the service. We have always had a great meal here and the family dinners serve more than they state. They do now provide delivery service.
