Panda Garden is the best Chinese Restaurant in this area, in my opinion. Great food, great flavor, always satisfied! I would (and do) highly recommend Panda Garden, on Brighton Ave. in Portland. Simply the best!!!!!

Ordered General Tsaos Chicken. Came with white sticky rice. Chicken was tough. No heat at all. Usually it's a spicy dish. Very disappointing

Best chinese food since the Pagoda Restaurant in Portland many years ago! I order frequently!Love,love,love it! The Owners are extremely Gentlemen and also the staff! BRAVO!

Those who have given a bad rating are the ones that like the standard of corn dogs and cheap same old Chinese fair. This restaurant distinguishes itself as a unique alternative. They haven't been in business for 35 years without changing ownership without good reason. The food is always made fresh on the spot. My wife loves the amazing chicken. Even the chicken fingers are good unique. I highly recommend it to anybody, except those who have no taste.

Consistently one of the best Chinese restaurants in Southern Maine. I've been eating in this restaurant for 35 years at least and NEVER had a bad meal here. When I worked at the Pine Tree Shopping center for the better part of 10 years I'd get lunch here at least 3 to 4 times a week because of the incredible value. Years later nothing has changed and these hard-working folks continue to deliver consistently excellent food day in and day out. Stopped in last week and had the Ginger Chicken with Green Beans. Awesome! They also have the BEST House Fried Rice EVER! And incredible Crab Rangoons.
I just can't say enough nice things about this business. I don't know what some of these other reviewers are smoking.

Gross!!! Expensive!! That just about sums it up!! We will never go there again! I should have made a skillet bag dinner from grocery store it would have tasted a lot better and been a fraction of the price!if you are thinking about going here...DONT!!

Ordered through Grubhub May 2020. Not happy, small portions, taste was tolerable and food overpriced. Delivery, fees, taxes and modest tip came to $30 on a $50 order for three. Never again. Feeling ripped off.

Went back after several years, I am a believer in 2nd chances....well...I won't get the 3rd strike...will not return. Staff is not welcoming even when not busy as in this evenings dinner. My order...crab rangoons...bland, orange chicken.... good, rice option is white only unless you pay for an order of fried. Oh...I based tonight's return on their on-line menu selections and pricing...well...very deceiving and extremely outdated...not one price is accurate. They gave me a $2,00 off coupon for my next visit, valid for 30 days....if you hurry you can get it...I left it on the table!!!

I like the restaurants food is good for the price, they care friendly at the counter for take out and very lively to regulars. I've spent my share of money in this restaurant and the only thing I can tell you is that they gave me a hassle over breaking a $100 bill once. I had to leave my ID and run across don't the street to break it at another store and come back. They have no signs or anything at the counter letting people know the cants break large denominations. If five or six people eat on the same Bill and all they had was $100 bill would they get the same treatment. Ever since then I get the cold shoulder everry time I went in like I was some huge inconvenience.

One of the few Chinese restaurants I actually like to eat at. Perfectly cooked fried rice. Crab Rangoons were just okay. Wonton soup was piping hot in a good way.

been going here for almost three decades,Very best in Maine !! Hot and sour soup is the best but lately mushrooms have been light. Years ago mushrooms were more plentiful and paddy siraws which are delightful and the texture is lovely.Would love to see there return. Womderful people have worked hard there and they bend over backward to please.If you do not like this place you are Nuts !!!!! Thank You Panda Garden!!!!!

This was the worst Chinese American food my family and I have ever experienced. We ordered three orange chicken meals. A general tsao meal, a ginger chicken with green bean, three house fried rice quarts and one white rice. I picked up a large bag of food and the bill was $89.90.
When I got home I found I was short one quart of house fried rice and an extra quart and pint of white rice.
The General tsao chicken was swimming in a watery sauce and the chicken was gooey.
The orange chicken was also gooey and did not taste anything like the freshly made orange chicken at Chia Sen in Scarborough. The house fried rice was bland and what little shrimp in the dish was over-cooked and dry.
The WORST problem we experience was not just the one dark long hair human we found in white rice but the second long dark hair we found in the white rice. All in all this was the absolute worst food experience we have ever experienced in the Portland Maine area. I will say I did like the interior of the restaurant when I picked up my take-out and the elderly gentleman at the front counter was very friendly but based on the very low quality of the food and the $11.95 price tag for just the chicken dishes I will NOT go back to the Panda Garden on Brighton Avenue in Portland Maine.

I live near Panda garden been going there since I was a kid one of the best Asian inspired food restaurants in the neighborhood. Always nice to us and take care of the customers 110% always, birthdays I get cheesecake. Will recommend them always.

I have been going to this Panda Garden for years for the lunch menu. The food is excellently priced for good Ameri-Chinese food. What puts this restaurant over the top is the customer service. They are always friendly and helpful. Quick to smile and quick with refills. This is a local favorite and will be for many years. Check them out.

Food was a bit pricey.........i ordered honey chicken. It was okay!!!! They gave us a $3 coupon for the next time. We won't go back, so gave it to some other customers....
