The Clam Bake restaurant is a classic spot around here! So glad that it’s open part time until summer. I was there yesterday for the first time this year. Ordered the favorite fried clam strip plate and onion rings. I must say that the clam strips were NOT up to their standards of years passed. I ordered the ‘crumb’ choice for the batter. Upon arrival the portion was very small and the strips were not ‘crumbed’ and were cool. So for a $21.00 dinner...very disappointing experience ☹ï¸

I have been a very long time customer and our whole family was so excited and planned this outing. We were discussted with the entire experience. Was greeted with everything is being packed to go. We had already secured a Table in the dining room. Waited about 20 min for number to be called. Picked order up and proceeded back to the dining room. All items were not in the bag. Went back waited for other item. Food was cold and looked like they scooped up whatever had been sitting in the bin..got wrong clams only 12 shrimp in a captains platter and was greasy and had no taste. Simply awful. Ken's here we come. The pickup girl had a tank top on with way too much exposure..this is a restaurant. . All the staff was cold, abrupt and not a good representation for the business..no seating but 2 rooms were closed. I have worked in restaurants and retail all my life..give it your best or go home..$41.00 for the platter and 8.95 for a grilled cheese..what a waste of time and $$ never getting another shot with any of our family..downhill x10

My wife & I eat here every time we go to OOB. The food is always amazing and the views are incredible!

My husband ordered twin lobsters ,they where full of water, and he said that was all they tasted like too, no flavor.not a good meal for us.
