Tried a variety of dishes including chowders, clamcakes, and onion rings at Howard's. The portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly. Despite a few minor hiccups with the service, the clam cakes were amazing and definitely worth a return visit.

Red chowder had no clams only shrimp also fish and clamcakes not cooked. French fries not much better.

bought a quart of red chowder whick was great and ordered a dozen cakes. I did not know cakes were flat. once I took a bite I kndew why. SOLID GREASE Tried half of another and tossed the rest in the trash. Buy chowder yes,....cakes never again
