Always great fish n chips, they give enough frenchfries for 2 people. Fried clams are Great but bellies seem small or not there for whole belly order

I just ordered a dozen clam cakes with white chowder and fish and chip everything but the clam cakes we're good the Clam cakes were overcooked and greasy and hard I for one will not order clam cakes from disestablishment again I was very disappointed

First, no coleslaw..I would have expected that with Fish and Chips! Disappointed to have to pay extra next time if there is a next time.
Second, suppose to include tartar sauce...no tartar sauce
Fish and chips were good, a bit expensive, so I would expect coleslaw and tartar sauce to be included.

Years ago I remember this was THE place to go for fish and chips, but oh how the mighty have fallen. Hours are inconsistent along with heightened prices. Greasy beyond belief, and worst of all, they completely stop making clam cakes after 3pm. If you want clam cakes and chowder for dinner, you literally have to go somewhere else

Spent my first 30 years going to yoe every friday
went back after 20 years of living in Florida and was disappointed in what I received.
The fish and chips were terrible
The chips were an inedible greasy mush
the fish was a bit more edible but still nothing compared to what I use to get every friday
so sad when your memories are considerably better than reality

Grew up in Woonsocket; grew up on Ye Olde English Fish & Chips. Anytime we're in New England, we HAVE to pick up YOEF&C! Was great then; still excellent today!
