I recently tried takeout from a Chinese-American restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. The chicken and broccoli, chicken wings, and wonton chips with duck sauce were all fantastic, making it one of my go-to places for takeout. The generous portions, reasonable prices, and consistently good quality have made this restaurant stand out for me since moving from NYC in 2018.

Funny thing is, I'm eating at Red Ginger right now and I find that it's quite an excellent and friendly atmosphere. I go to RIC and get delivery there, but I decided to do work here since they have Wi Fi. The bathroom is very clean, I really don't understand where that first review is coming from.....The food is amazing; they even made NEW crab rangoons for me.

I don't understand why people feel the need to rate food they have no knowledge about...

Anyway, go to Red Ginger if you want REAL Chinese food, not some generic "asian" restaurant. Get cultured please. You won't find better authentic Chinese cuisine in RI.

so always hear how good red ginger is and every time i order from there it is horrible i order general Tao's chicken and i always ask for extra sauce it comes drier then dry my last experience and Finlay experience was my crab Rangoon not cooked and either was my egg roll i called to let the manger know she laughed in my face lagged!! that was it my last time the food and service is horrible i dint recommend red ginger!

Red Ginger ROCKS! My chinese doctor sent me over there.
Here, you will find in the back of the menu, the authentic chinese menu, wonderful dishes you will not find anywhere else.
The family that runs it are lovely people.
Red Ginger is my happiness!

I'm headed over there right now.

Don't listen to the other guy.

This is the best chinese food in Providence.

What has happened to Red Ginger??? I've heard nothing but good about it~! I finally got there ( 3 friends came along). Food was not good :(....
I compared my 'General's Chicken' with the 'Sesame Chicken" one of my friends had ordered to find that the flavor (if you wanted to call it that) was the same (except for the sesame seed). Fried rice..no flavor/Sweet & Sour Soup...weird, medicinal flavor (looked like it had been re-heated several times)...and this carried through to all the dishes served. I asked for extra spicy with my General's Chicken. It didn't happen.
We spoke to the waitress...no 'sorry'...no satisfaction...nothing~! One of my friends had been there in Ginger's better days..."may have been under other management?" This place gets the big ""X""". Oh...bathroom was disgusting as well. Keep away~!
