Almost two hours later & still waiting for our appetizer...


WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!

The place is beautiful. On a Saturday night there was live music and a lovely ambience.

A group of six of us got there for 7:30. Five drinks were ordered. They did not have four of them. After 45 minutes we finally got our drinks and even then they were not correct. We did not even bother asking our waitress to correct them for fear it would take another 45 minutes.

After almost an hour and a half (8:50pm) we asked the hostess if there was a problem because we still had not even gotten our appetizers! Our waitress apologized and said it would be "right out." After almost another half an hour (9:15pm) we politely requested that our order be cancelled.

Efendi himself came out to apologize and offered to pay for the first round of drinks. It was too little, too late. My boyfriend and I cancelled our orders and went elsewhere to enjoy a delicious meal with excellent and quick service.

Our friends stayed because they were told that their appetizers and a round of drinks would be paid for and that their entrees would be "right out." I got a text from them later saying that they had left and gone down the road for dinner too.

I was hoping to go to Efendi's one Thursday to see my belly dancing instructor perform, but not even that could get me to set foot in Efendi's ever again!

45 minutes to get a drink that is not even what I ordered and 2 hours for an appetizer is unacceptable.
