03/17/2023 - Love it here
I think Andrea is reviewing the wrong place. There is no music playing here. The waitresses are too busy to be hanging around talking.
We love it here and it’s convenient. Prices aren’t bad. Though we have been coming here for years now I wish we had discovered them sooner. They are a tucked away hidden gem.

Andrea... you sound like you have a lot of personal issues going on, and to state something like this on a public website, shame on you!!!!
No one needs to know about the children's grandmother passing away, have some respect, I can see why you were banned from the place.
The breakfast place is wonderful everyone don't listen to some attention seeking drama queen .
Anyways.... The breakfast place has great food, the service is wonderful, and everyone is happy and cheerful. I have been going there for years and will continue.

This restaurant used to be among my favorite breakfast places, however, once the original owner died, the service went way down. I frequented this place for over 14 years, and only ever had an issue once til the grandmother passed away. Once the grandkids took over, it became more like a hangout. Loud music, no service, etc. One of the last times i went there, my husband and i ordered for ourselves and our children. The order was made incorrectly. I didnt call to complain, but 3 weeks later when i went in, i let them know. I didnt ask or expect anything to be done about it at that point, i just wanted them to be aware. We waited for about 15 mins for a waitress, because she was too busy sitting and laughing with friends to take our order, and while we waited we were discussing amongst ourselves how the service had gone down since the grandmother had passed. when we returned about 2 weeks later, we were treated very coldly. After ordering, and paying, we were then told we were not to return as we had insulted the grandmother!!! Ridiculous! This was shouted at us in front of a room full of customers. First of all, we never insulted the grandmother, in fact, it was quite the opposite! Second, i loved how they waited til they had our money in hand to do this. Third, most business's want to hear from their long term customers if there is an issue. Apparently not Shanna's. We were told that all we do is complain (twice in 14yrs, wow what complainers we are), and that the cook remembered making our order correctly!! Props to the cook for having a memory that good, cause with all the orders he makes each day, its amazing to me he could remember an order from a month and a half prior!!! Either way, the coffee and cream restaurant in N. Smithfield is only 5 mins away, and the food is just as good and cheaper!! PLUS, the service is WAY better!
