Angelo's, an iconic establishment on Federal Hill, offers a family-friendly atmosphere and affordable prices compared to other spots on Atwells. Their menu features a variety of traditional Italian dishes alongside modern options, such as the pastine soup and baked ziti I enjoyed at the cozy bar area, where the attentive bartender ensured a great dining experience.

Angelo's serves the best Italian food ever. You can order full or half orders of your favorites, giving you the opportunity to try more than one. Old favorites like , tripe, smelts, veal and mushrooms and many other Italian dishes are prepared perfectly. No frills, just excellent food. My wife and I were born on Federal Hill ;lived there , went to school there and have been going to Angelo's for over 50 years, We have never been disappointed. Service is friendly and quick.

I grew up on "The Hill" and ate just about every meal offered at this great restaurant. Karen had her first aglia y oglio there which started her off on the Italian cooking adventure. This is probably the best Italian restaurant anywhere in the world!

not only the best food and pricing by far for lunch, Aime the super server in the bar makes it all fun!!!

For the buck, Angelo's on Federal Hill in Providence simply can't be beat. The portions are big and everything is done the way good Italian food should be. It's all about flavor. The veal and peppers has been a longtime favorite. The fried calamari is always tender - never over-cooked. The dessert selection is well-varied, but after a full meal, it's usually a little too heavy to consider. There's nothing pretentious about the atmosphere. It's comfortable and spacious enough to seat a good number of people. Booths and tables. Separate rooms. Also has full-service bar.
Simply put, there's no better Italian food in Providence for the money!

For the price, great food, large portions. Very casual and relaxed, nothing elegan...., if that is what you're looking for, great choice.

I have been going to Angelos for 10 years and I have never been disapointed with the quality and quantity of the food.
Try the veal parmesan, or the veal and peppers buono!
Keep it up

There is much better Italian in Providence. It's not terrible, but just okay…average at best
