It's different. Imagine the Pirates of the Caribbean running an English Pub designed by Tim Burton - and throw in a dash of Star Wars. The food is fresh and prepared expertly. Many vegetarian dishes, burgers as well as fish and chops. Great fries. The show is the kitchen which is in full view. The service is relaxed and there are plenty of tatoos, piercings and facial hair to go around. But, it's a fun place. It can get loud, but worth the trip. Very popular. Plan to wait 30 minutes for a brunch seat - but have a mimosa or two while you wait.

you do not always get what your order, but what they end up bringing you is usually a decent replacement. there are a few items on the menu that i would travel great distances for. Jullians is known for its great beer selection, fun art, and young crowd. it is a place you go to for the atmosphere, and to see these kids try so hard to run a restaurant and deliver the dishes which sound so good.

for the first time in a long time, I have had an extremely delicious meal at Julians, as to my prior experiences with inconsistent cooking at Julians. I have to say, however, the service was awfully rude. No hello, thank you, have a nice day, or even a smile. Miserable wench. Yeah, that's right i said it.

always, too inconsistent-annie get your gun if you directly complain to julian the owner. he hasn't learned of constructive criticism, and never will. like his cooks at the time, my mother could teach them how to make a poached egg.
