Recently tried this BBQ joint after their reopening and was pleasantly surprised by the improved food quality compared to previous reviews. Opted for the brisket and ribs with sides of slaw, beans, and cornbread, and the ribs and homemade beans truly stole the show with their delicious flavors. The BBQ here is wood-cooked rather than smoked, resulting in a fantastic caramelization on the ribs that added to the overall taste experience. Despite some minor hiccups like the size and pricing of the cornbread, the enjoyable atmosphere, friendly service, and consistently good food make Wes' a spot worth revisiting.

WE looked forward to eating at Wes's for a special birthday celebration for my son. The atmosphere was nice. The service was just ok which was due to the bartender being our waiter.
The salad, blue cheese dressing and the corn bread was excellent which gives the 2 rating. For the food it was barley warm. the ribs, baby back ribs and pull pork was the toughest we ever tasted. My daughter-in-law commented that her lower teeth hurt after eating only half her ribs.
I tried to take 2 bites of my rib and pull pork and gave up because it was so tough. My husbands thigh was under cooked. The beans and coleslaw were small portions and was not to our liking. When we asked to speak to a manager we were told there was no one there. But they would credit us the cheapest meal. The waiter took our phone number for the manager to call us. We are still waiting. We will stick with our regular tradition and go back to Longhorn at least we have always had great ribs.

When Ryan or Kenny are on the fire, the results are super. These guys know their meat!!! Service is excellent too! I've been served by Morgan, who is always friendly and attentive! No par boiled meats here. Just REAL smoked 'que!

Hands down the best St.Louis style ribs around. every time i go eat them they are better than the last. Fall off the bone good
