The food at Don Pollo Sunnyside is incredibly authentic and flavorful, making the trip worthwhile every time. I especially love their lomo saltado, with juicy steak and deliciously saucy ingredients, and the green sauce is simply the best I've tasted. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, along with the attentive service from Antonella and her family, truly makes each visit special, and I look forward to supporting this wonderful business regularly.

As a Peruvian, I do not recommend it, because it is one of the worst "Peruvian" restaurants I have visited, horrible service, inattentive and no cordiality. It seems that you enter a funeral home, not a restaurant, because the waiters are grumpy. Only when they charge you do they smile and bully you for the tip. I am Peruvian and I know the taste of Peruvian food and in that restaurant, they sell anything but Peruvian food. ZERO CORDIALITY. ZERO FOOD. ZERO ATTENTION. ZERO IN CULINARY ORIGINALITY. AND ZERO IN TASTE. STAY AWAY FROM THAT RESTAURANT. I do not recommend any dish. They are all "bad IMITATION of Peruvian food" Me, to that pseudo Peruvian restaurant, I'M NOT GOING BACK AGAIN! As a Peruvian, I recommend, PERUANOS ORIGINALES restaurant, as PUNTA SAL, in Sunnyside and WARIQUE in Jackson Heights.
