Excellent food and service.
07/19/2022 - Scared
After reading this review about health hazards and a distruting reuben sandwich, I have changed my mind about trying this NY so-called deli. I give it 2 stars because I am scared to try it.

Literally a sickening "jewish" deli experience.
I've been to several great Jewish Deli's in NYC and LA. Mookies in Cary, however, is a public health hazard to be avoided at all costs.
- Reuben sandwich w corned beef was a tough, sinouy, excessively fat, and incredibly soggy and tasteless experience that left me incapicated and nauseous the rest of the day. If you're not a culinary masochist I strongly advise that you spend your 25 dollars elsewhere.
- Week old coleslaw left out in the sun would be preferable to the limp and mayo heavy concoction that Mookies prides itself of serving. When something so easy and cheap to make fresh is done so poorly, it is obvious that Mookies could care less about their customers.
- 3 spoons of Matzo ball soup was enough to leave my co dinner sick and bed ridden.
All in all - a terrible dine-at-your-own-risk experience that is ripe to be shut down by the NC Board of Health.
