Having dined at K&W cafeterias for over 50 years since my university days, I find this location to provide excellent food served at the right temperature and in generous portions. The country style steak, along with well-prepared veggies and comforting desserts, consistently exceeds my expectations, especially since the restaurant's improvements starting in 2023. While prices have increased, the quality of the food and the service remains commendable, making it a favorite for home-style cooking in the area.

A friend and I went to your restaurant on 9/12/21 at approx. 5:30 PM. The line was all the way back to where you enter the food line. We stayed our 6' distance and line moved slowly. When we got to line next to food, people were doing so many 'Take-out" plates that the meat we ordered when we got to it, got cold waiting for people ordering so many take outs. We ordered Baked Chicken that we had to send back because it was not done. The lady that was watching over the tables looked at our plates and agreed. She carried our plates back and the waiter for our table brought us back 2 more plates of Baked Chicken which we refused. At this time I don't feel like I ever want any more Baked Chicken which had always been my special at the K & S. I have always been a customer at the K & S but after yesterday I never plan to come again until they separate the "take outs" from the customers planning to eat at the restaurant. I know they are customers too, but others should not be punished because one customer is getting enough plates to feed a family and the food in your plate is getting colder and colder.. YOU NEED TO SEPARATE THIS.
