I had a lovely lunch with excellent service and delicious food. I ordered the kale salad and my friend had the grilled vegetables sandwich with sweet potato fries. I enjoyed the ambiance and the prices were good.
I liked it so well, I returned the next day to order food to go for a hombound friend.

On the plus side, the restaurant has a nice ambience and a broad selection of choices on its menu. Unfortunately, I must have chosen the wrong thing. I ordered the steamers. They come with garlic bread and I specified to the waitress that I could not eat cheese. She agreed they could make it without cheese, but when it came it had visible cheese, I tasted it, a friend tasted it and we agreed. The host came when called and took the plate to the kitchen but returned saying there was no cheese on the bread. I felt fussy when asking for a replacement. When the bread came it was burnt. The clams, on the other hand, we're tough, rubbery and the sauce was extremely salty. A final problem, every time we needed something my friend had to get up and look for the server. This was an unfortunate dining experience. I doubt if I will return to this restaurant in the future.
