Several times this has happened to me
I go through the drive-thru, place my order, pay, then drive up to the window to pick up my food.
the person in the window says "please pull up to the front and someone will bring your food in one or two min. because the hash browns or fries are not done" Well 1 or 2 min. turns into 5-10 min. and this happens on my way to work or during my lunch hr. I understand it may be a busy time.
However, I think that as a courtesy to the customer they should be told up front BEFORE they pay. This way the customer can decide if they have time to wait or need to leave.
