During a recent motorcycle tour around Lake Superior, my partner and I stayed at the Lakeview Hotel in Wawa. I specifically sought out unique, privately owned lodging options and was pleasantly surprised by the quaint and charming atmosphere at the hotel, complete with Woody's Pub where locals gather to share insights. Despite ongoing renovations, our stay was enjoyable and affordable, with clean and quiet rooms that provided a comfortable night's rest. The central location allowed for easy access to nearby dining options and the cozy lobby provided a relaxing space to unwind.
