The pizza at Newport is delicious, with lots of cheese and toppings. Flanked by Elvis Lives Lane, the restaurant exudes a good vibe that adds to the overall experience. I look forward to revisiting and trying more of their menu offerings.

I have eaten at the Newport since the 1980's and always had a pleasant time and good meal, until today. Myself and my 2 friends were seated on the patio by a clueless server who seated us at a lopsided table and took our drink orders, we ordered 2 coffees and 2 glasses of water with a margarita. we moved our table to one beside a very dirty area of the patio and proceeded to order spinach dip with extra pita, nacho's with extra sides of salsa and sour cream and a chicken finger platter. the waitress seemed to not understand what our order was completely when it was placed which I found troubling. the food was a very long time in arriving, and we never were asked if we wanted our coffee refilled. When the food arrived the spinach dip was basically whole leaves of spinach, not chopped, mixed in an alfredo sauce served with pita chips and the extra side order of salsa had been added to the cooked nachos making them too heavy for the chips and impossible to eat, when the waitress came to settle the bill she agreed the nacho's were not cook properly and removed their cost from the final bill which is a small something I will credit the meal with but over all I was very unhappy with the poor quality of service we received and the sloppily prepared food. I will not be back to the Newport as there are much better places available in the area to spend my $45 for a meal.
