Sorry, wouldn't recommend that place to anyone. The staff seemed pretty unhappy and it wasn't a great vibe overall. Heard the food was good, but the atmosphere just didn't sit right with me. Had the Brie cheese with Chicken burger and caesar salad, while my husband had the BX burger and a beer. The waitress was nice and the food was tasty, but we won't be going back.

well mid day we had a nice lunch and asked how long they were open the waitress said 12am is closing we get there at 9pm we get told there almost closed and the online menu says 12am is closing. wont be back

My mother and I went to the BX Pub yesterday, the lady seating us is normally nice and I believe she's part of the management there but yesterday she didn't guide us to a table. She told us to pick between a few tables. So we chose the table beside the fireplace. I love sitting by the fireplace but also my mom was cold. So we sat down beside the fireplace. The lady came over and told us we had to move. We told her that we'd like to sit there because my mom was cold. She said yeah well sorry but you'll have to move. If it gets busy then we have to accommodate them. She said we just have to move. To make things worse she hollers when she talks. Everyone was staring at us. This kind couple beside the fire place felt sorry for us and offered to give us their table. It was so embarrassing. We just politely said we're just going to go somewhere else. The lady then said well if it means your leaving!! We just smiled and said it's okay. We're going somewhere else. Dining out for us is about the experience along with great food and drinks. This was so embarrassing. We left feeling embarrassed and upset. Thankfully we found kind service at another restaurant. I don't think we'll be back anytime soon.

My husband and I go once a week for lunch on Thursday: Pints of Heineken are on special! Beautiful pub decor - the woodwork is truly impressive. The food is pub food, but the servings are large and yummy. What really distinguishes the BX is the wait staff - they're always friendly and attentive. They have also taken prudent care to make the pub as safe as possible during COVID.
