This business has really stepped up its game since the new owner came on board. I usually grab takeout or have my food delivered, but one time I had a delivery at work and the owner himself brought it. He even gave me my meal for free when he didn't have the right change - talk about customer service! My husband once ordered the wrong dish, but the owner quickly fixed it without any fuss. I was impressed when he said he'd give the extra meal to the homeless folks nearby. It's rare to find such generosity in a business, so I'll definitely be supporting them whenever I can! The food is delicious, and you get a lot for your money.

My wife and ordered food on 12/9 for delivery, we both ordered dinner and had different chicken meals. The fried rice was very dry, even drinking water wasn't helping. The chicken was old and tasted like it was microwaved the day before. We both stopped eating it half way through our plate, it was not worth what we payed for it. Just gross. Dont waste your money...

Ordered a large meal for my granddaughters birthday a few hours in advance. It was all delivered on time and everyone enjoyed it. I can highly recommend.

It's fast food Chinese. Wile it is not fancy, neither is Mcdonald's or burger king, or Da Catch, But, for what it is I like it. Today I got Wantons in Egg Drop soup and BBQ pork fried rice. Both are good. I have gotten them a couple times before, and never had a bad experience. The main reason I go is because they deliver so I can have lunch between my classes at the college, and their in walking distance when I am at home. They give you a lot of food. I just finished the soup and had to put the rice in the fridge for later.I am so full. Anywho, if you are looking for Chinese food that delivers, or just something cheap and casual I super recommend them. I forgot to mention staff has always been friendly and I have delivery guy even remembered me and asked how my math test went.

These ppl know nothing about food let alone Chinese food, I cnt believe they get business from ppl that know better. They sure wont get mine anymore.if I want boiled old rice with steamed meat I cn do that at home for less. I see why the prices are so affordable. I give them one star just because u cn eat it.

This Happy Wok is not like the other ones! I was so disappointing! The crab raccoon's tasted like they had been cook four times, the beef tasted like it was over a week old. and the combo fried rice was horrible! I took it all back with full containers, no apology. Never again...I will go to my Happy Wok on 11th street in Rockford!

Always give happy wok a chance but they never live up to expectations
Really I don't even know how they have stayed in business this long
The food is way over priced fried shrimp and crab ragoons always burned to a crisp
Food could use more flavor and taste
The crab ragoons have nothing in them besides plain cream cheese didn't know crab ragoons could be made without crab
I think I'm sticking with the Panda restraunt by Walmart very good same price but food is much better

Awful! Bland, sweet-sour sauce neither sweet nor sour, NO beef or anything but rice in beef fried rice. Would never eat there again.

happy wok is okay could be better food. my opinion of best Chinese food in Freeport is the China buffet many different choices. good food and a good price.
