First of all whoever wrote that review has no clue that the managers and owners are not old and frail. They are hard working people who work 7 days a week and take care of all their customers. If you are not happy with your food tell them while you are dining and they will also make it right . I have been a customer there for over 10 years and the food is always great.. They treat my family like their family. Mattys is a family restaurant with excellent food and service . They have been in business a long time with faithful followers..

Wanted good old fashioned diner pancakes and my friend wanted steak and eggs. OMG the pancakes weren't cooked all the way thru and DID NOT TASTE GOOD AT ALL. THEY WERE DRY AND WOULD DEF NOT. ORDER THEM AGAIN AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE ELSE WASTING THEIR HARS EARNED CASH AT THAT PLACE!.. NY DRIEND WHO ORDERED OVER EASY EGGS GOT SCRAM EGGS WITH CHEESE... IT WASNT AT ALL WHAT SHE ORDERED... I GET SOMETIMES PLACES GET BUSY AND. SOMETIMES MAKE MISTAKES AND WHATEVER BUT I WANT TO MAKE IT VERY CLEAR TO EVERYONE THAT THIS. PLACE WAS NOT BUSY AT ALL AND MADE NUMEROUS MISTAKES... IDK IF OUR WAITRESS WAS OUT TO LONG THE NIGHT BEFORE AND STILL WAS HIGH FROM THE NIGHT BEFORE BUT SHE BROUGHT COFFEE AND OJ TO US BUT NOBODY ORDERED COFFEE... NEEDLESS TO SAY I DID SPEAK TO A MGR WHO WAS VERY OLD AND FRAIL... LOOKS LIKE SHE NEEDED TO EAT A SANDWICH BUT SHE DID NOT TRY To make anything better she just wad like oh yeah that's so and so... Like that waitress makes mistakes all the time... Personally.... I will NEVER go bk there nor will anyone I know... I'm surprised the place is still open. It's a small place and it's probably good it's small because they r in no need capable of doing bigger things the mgr is on her last legs and the old guy that owns the place has no clue what's going on... It's actually pretty comical
