I recommend the Slopper (open face cheeseburger smothered in green chile topped with cheese and onions) at Gray's Coors Tavern. It's probably the best in Pueblo.

We stopped in for lunch on the patio today. We hadn't had a Slopper in a very long time. As we were leaving I was looking back to hold the door for a server and missed the step down. I stumbled and thought I'd caught myself except the door to a restroom swung inward and I went down hard. I landed on my left hip, hitting my head on the door. My head, back, left hip and left wrist are all hurting. I wasn't drunk. I had a Coke with lunch.

Watch that step leading to the outside patio. I wish I hadn't missed it.

Every time I head south out of Denver or my way to Santa Fe to visit my sister, I stop at Grays!
My grandfather, grandmother, dad, uncles and aunt Homesteaded out around Boon and Fowler!

I have spent the last 14 yrs eating at Coors religiously!! The food is awesome my service has always been great. I appreciate and love the family atmosphere! The Jonny burger is the bomb!!!!!!

My girlfriend and I ate here about 2 months ago cost me one hundred dollars! Then tonight I went in to have a beer and because I had a backpack & old clothes on, I was told by the owner to leave immediately! I told him I could leave the backpack at the door, but he rudely told me to get out! I think he owes me apology,a drink and some cash for my trouble. If that doesn't work I will have no choice but to sue him for discrimination, harassment, and defermation of character ☹️

Wow, this was one of the worst experiences ever!. Went for a quick lunch, sat at the bar. Servers acted very put out and chili was not what it used to be? Something has definitely changed! Food Truck is more disgusting than restaurant! How embarrassing that this place once represented Pueblo sloppers! Oh and by the way, lunch was a whopping 40$! They didn't put enough chili on slopper so I was charged an additional $5.00 for another bowl of slop. Can't say Sunset is much better but this place...YUCK!
