Bears Den is a nostalgic drive-in where car hops take your order at your window, just like in the 60's. The hurriburger, a mysterious secret recipe served on a whole wheat bun, is a must-try item on the menu. Pair it with their root beer for a classic and satisfying meal that's worth the stop off the highway.

Grew up in shelbyville and have ate there many times! Great food! But I have moved away 28 years ago and I'm now bringing my sons up there to show them my old stomping grounds! Do you still have the hurry burger with cheese? That was my favorite! When do you close for winter?

Waitress flipped out on me. Cursing me. Threw the food on the ground. All because Our order she took to another car. I asked to have it remade.They opened the food. I watched because it looked like our food. Which it was.. the other car opened the bags. Had it in their van.. They opened the coney cheese fries. Handed back to the waitress. She was mad I didn't want food after it was in their car and handled by them. She yelled saying everyone touches the bags. I asked for a refund. She wouldn't get the manager. She wouldn't remake food. I have rootbeer all over my car door the waitress was so unprofessional. Manager wouldn't come out. Two waitresses talked to us. Said the manager was busy.. The car next to us talked to them who witnesses her cussing and throwing food. They remade the food. My son witnessed it and was scared of her behavior. Not a family friendly environment
