The shrimp and chicken here are among the best in the Midwest, with the orange hot sauce enhancing the flavors of the dishes. After 55 years of being a loyal customer, I appreciate the consistently excellent food and customer service, making it a reliable choice for fried chicken and fish.

The food at Hienie's has been a staple in my life for over five decades - the shrimp and chicken are unbeatable in the mid-west. Their hot sauce is a game-changer, especially on the shrimp, chicken, fish, and fries. I've always called ahead to place my order, and it's always quick and piping hot when I pick it up from one of their multiple locations.

Since new ownership took over, Hienie's is not the same. The food is over cooked and not worth the prices. They have cut down on portions and raised the prices. The service is terrible, and they can't get your order right. Don't waste your money.
