We took the ferry to The Old Dock, enjoyed the fish and chips, and savored the lake views. Service was good, worth another visit.

This is a beautiful setting wasted on poor management- I brought my boyfriend's parents here for a special treat, we took the ferry from Vermont- we had reservations, and were seated on time, and were able to successfully place drink orders. The waitress then came to announce that an Emergency had occurred and that we couldn't place an order. She was clearly flustered and I felt terrible for her! I asked about our drink orders? So she went back into the kitchen to ask about them, coming back to state that she could do that (we ordered sodas). Then I asked- "will they be covered for our inconvenience- you seated us and we had a reservation but are basically kicking us out" - so she went back to ask about that and returned to state they could not! We returned back to the ferry, thirsty and hungry. On the way back through we mentioned to another person who had also taken the ferry back due to the same reason and they stated that the Old Dock was known for being poor quality. Just really disappointing!
