The Highway Restaurant in Albia, Iowa is a local favorite for good food and friendly service. On my first visit, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast with my Mom - the vegetarian skillet and chicken fried steak were both tasty. The staff was attentive and the atmosphere felt like a welcoming home away from home. I would definitely return to this cozy diner next time I'm passing through the area.
