Upon checking in at 3:00pm, we were warmly welcomed by the staff at Clover Cliff Ranch. Our overnight stay in the "Turkey Track" room on the 1st floor, with its 12-foot ceiling, was a cozy and inviting retreat that made us feel right at home. The room was well-prepared, allowing us to unpack and settle in before heading to dinner at 5:00pm, where we indulged in delicious KC strips and enjoyed a comfortable night's rest. The next morning, we started our day with a light continental breakfast, feeling refreshed and ready to explore the charming surroundings of the Flint Hills.
