Breakfast and lunch from 5am-3pm. Probably the freshest breakfast anywhere from NYC to New Paltz. Classic as well as lighter options, and never greasy (eh-hem, Fiddlestix). Try to get a seat at the counter so you can watch Donna cook perfect eggs, every time. Vegetarian and vegan options available. Friendly and helpful waitstaff.

Chef Donna Hammond - known and loved from Cornwall to California (Painter's Executive Chef back in the day when it was good and Chez Panisse in Berkeley) will be opening the Hudson Street Cafe in Cornwall-on-Hudson in early June 2009. Donna and partner Will Waterfield will be serving breakfast and lunches seven days a week with dinner coming soon. My favorites - Green eggs and ham and breakfast nachos.
