This Mexican restaurant is a local favorite with excellent service and solid food offerings. The upscale ambiance adds a nice touch, despite the potential for crowding. While it may be a bit pricier, the delicious Mexican cuisine and welcoming atmosphere make it a must-try for any Mexican food lover.

Several years ago my brother told me Garcis's was a good place to eat, it was located in the shopping center behind Nat's sporting goods then. My husband and I moved here last year. We tried Garcia's this evening and we were very impressed. We ordered one of their specialty items. The food was delicious and it was presented very beautiful on the plate. Our waiter was knowledgable and attentive, two things we look for in a restaurant. We would definately recommend Garcia's to our friends.

Chicken Fajitas & Burrito - My mother and I love Mexican food, so we decided to try Garcia's. There were a lot of cars there so we figured they would be good. We waited for about 15 minutes to be seated, even though more than half the tables were empty. Finally someone came up to us and asked if we were waitling on something, we told them we were waiting to be seated, so he seated us. I ordered the chicken fajitas and my mother ordered a burrito that was supposed to have a ton of veggies in it. Took about 30 minutes to get the food, he brought us the wrong order, so we waited another 15 minutes for our food. Finally we got our food and it was the tiniest chicken fajita I have ever seen. About 1/5 the size fajitas you get at other Mexican restaurants. The food was below sub-par. My rice was minute rice they had flavored. The beans were good. The fajita cost about $11 and was horrible.
Now on to my mothers dish. She is a vegetarian so she ordered a burrito (I believe it was called a California burrito) without chicken. It was supposed to have mushroom, peppers, onions, corn, beans, tomatoes and rice inside. She started eating it and said somethings missing, but she couldn't remember what was supposed to be in it, since we had ordered about an hour ago. So she waited for the waiter to come back, about 25 minutes later we got his attention and he came over and rudely asked 'what we wanted'. My mother asked to see a menu cause something was missing in the burrito, he brought her a menu and threw it on the table and walked off. So we figured out her burrito had only onions, peppers and rice in it and was supposed to have mushrooms, peppers, onions, corn, beans, tomatoes and rice. So we once again waited till we could get the waiters attention which took another 15 minutes. (we were watching our watches and keeping track) He came over and asked 'what now'? So she told him what all was missing out of her burrito and told him it was cold since we had to wait so long for him to come, and asked if she could get a new one, and have it cooked the way it was supposed to be cooked. He told her "No, you have already eaten off it, you are not getting a new one". So my mom asked if she could at least have the stuff that was missing out of the burrito cause she was paying $10 for a tortilla with only some onions, peppers and rice in it. He told her "we no longer put that stuff in that burrito, so no you can't". So I asked him why the menu had not been changed, or why we had not been told when my mom ordered the burrito and said she wanted all those veggies. He told us "it's not my problem". So I asked to speak to a manger. He then told us "I'm was not wasting his time getting you the manager". And walked off. So we just left our cold nasty food, left him no tip and went up and paid. A different dude came up to the counter you pay at, so we asked him if we could speak to a manager. And he told us "No" and walked off after we paid. I have never had such horrible service before. It was unfathomable to us how they could be so rude and still be in business. I make sure to let everyone know about the horrible service we had there!
