Hey, just wanted to let you know that Zen Garden has moved to Yama Sushi down the street. They've got a new menu with tasty options like orange chicken and Thai dishes. The tempura shrimp is my personal favorite. The new spot is clean and the service is great. Prices might be a little higher now, but the food is still worth it!

Before we entered the restaurant, me and 4 of my friends were greeted by an extremely rude lady that came outside and told us that we made mess in the parking lot when it was my medication dropped from the car by mistake. Will never reccomend this place to ANYONE. Stay away.

She was clearly having a bad day and made our day bad too.

Amazing restaurant with some of the best people I've ever met. Every time I go there and eat, im greeted like family and the food is always perfect! This place is favorite.

Terrible! Ordered food and half of it was missing and incorrect. The food we did receive made our whole party sick. When we called to resolve the issue, we were hung up on repeatedly. Never again will I eat anything that comes from this establishment. If it can even be called that.

Zen Garden is a family run, family oriented restaurant, making sure even the tiniest of tots are happy and satisfied while serving their family the best Asian food in Grand Junction. When you walk in the door, you will be warmly greeted by some of the nicest people you'll ever know.

I have eaten Sushi and Sashimi from San Diego to Chicago and have never seen such a huge offering of varied Sushi and Sushi rolls. Their rolls are outstanding, each with it's own umami. My favorite is their flagship Zen Garden Roll ... a meal in itself, loaded with seafood ingredients. Oh, and their Eel Sauce used on many of the rolls, is amazing itself. I can't just eat the ZG Roll every time. I find the Tiger Roll, the Tiger Eye Roll, the Caterpillar Roll, and the Snow Roll very interesting and beautiful works of art that must be eaten up, not framed.

They must spend a lot of time making sure their ingredients are top notch and fresh, because it shows. For example, the tuna is so tender you don't need teeth to chew it, but it helps.

Of course, Sushi is not all they have to offer. Besides a fully stocked bar from which they make colorful cocktails with an Asian flare, their menu is absolutely HUGE, offering not just cuisine from Japan, known for Sushi, but Thailand, Korea, and China as well.

Oh, and don't forget to try the soups. I found their Miso Soup to be the best I've had. It just grabs you by the tongue and pulls itself in ... you're done before you know it.

DO NOT EAT HERE. TERRIBLE AND RUDE SERVICE. FOOD IS NO ALL THAT GREAT EITHER. SAVE YOUR MONEY. THE WAITRESS TOLD MY WIFE THAT, " IT'S NOT MY JOB TO WRITE DOWN YOU ORDER." UGH, WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE?
