I love this place! My favorite Won Ton soup, I even order it to freeze! The Mongolian Beef is spicy, but not the burn your throat out spicy. I enjoy the egg rolls too. Tell me this is not authentic Chinese food? I don't care. I am not a food snob. If I like the food and enjoy it, I am eating it. Another plus is a friend who inspects many local restaurants for cleanliness eats there!

I have been eating this food since it was at Effie's restaurant. I was so glad when Chinese Kitchen opened and I could get my favorites. I moved out of town in 1989 but always eat here when I come to Alexandria.
Tonight I got the usual and looked forward to goo Won Ton soup since it was cold and raining outside. The soup was horrible. It was cold and it appeared and tasted as if it were cooked and served with PLAIN WATER. The egg roll was good but about 1/2 the size it used to be. The almond chicken was not as tasty either nor was the fried
