Without a doubt the most awkward dining experience I have ever had...twilight zone is an understatement. As we walked in we got the feeling like we were a burden and not welcome. Our waitress ignored us and finally asked with a big sigh, "ughhhh what do guys want to drink"...rude! Then while waiting for our meal, random people whom I guess must of been past employees, started scooping ice cream for the flustered waitstaff.God knows where this ladies hands had been! The "fresh" haddock sandwich was a Gordon's fish stick with a pitiful array of fries,id rather have a fillet o fish..boiled dinner was a horror show on a plate, pretty hard to screw up but they managed. Staff was unprofessional and completely disorganized..The best part of the meal was when we got the bill to leave. Garbage...

I stopped in to Shaners for some Dinner on Friday 2-4-2011. The place was not very busy and the Waitress was quick to ask what I wanted to drink. I ordered an open face turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and green beans. The turkey was pre-cooked and not very hot, the bread it was served on was fresh but I had to ask for some gravy, the potatoes was real but was served in a ball like being scooped out with an Ice cream scoop, There was no butter for the green beans and I had to ask for more coffee and creamer. The dessert was Apple crisp with Vanilla ice cream, that was good and the bill came up to around $ 14.10 The meal could have been better but I was full just the same after the Dessert. I would go there again but order something else, also they do not serve Breakfast.
