I visited today at 6:30 PM. The buffet had a poor odor from the outside, which I assumed to be old cooking oil. Still, I was hungry, and Chinese sounded like the ticket.

The staff was nice on entry, and service was prompt and done with a smile.

There are four hot buffet tables, a salad bar, a sushi bar that serves primarily Westernized sushi, hibachi, and a dessert section. Not a lot of super unique or authentic items, but it's about what you expect.

There were two members in my party, and we each got different items, avoiding some due to appearance. For example, the avocado on the sushi bar was brown and discolored, and many of the items, such as the walnut shrimp, was dried and gummy, and had been out on the buffet for hours prior to our arrival. Out of the food items that appeared safe to eat, many were spoiled. The baked salmon had a distinctive soured flavor and smell, as did the lo mein. The crawfish meat was grey, deep green-yellow (not the typical bright yellow that you will find in some crawfish), and some tails were brown. The sweet and sour chicken was not completely cooked. Out of the 25+ items we sampled, only two items could be accurately described as hot, and that was the sweet and sour sauce and the stuffed mushrooms.

When we reported the issues to the cashier, we did so discreetly and even offered to point out which items were not consumable. She ignored the offer entirely, and said that in the eight years she has been running the restaurant, she's never had a complaint - I did check their Gwinnett County Health Dept. scores. Their first listed inspection was 2008, and they failed inspection twice. They consistently have issues with food temperature. As such, I find it incredibly hard to believe that no one has explained this issue to the staff before.

She would not allow us to leave without paying, despite neither of us consuming our meals, though she did only charge us for one. At $10, plus tax, to be called a liar for food that I did not eat, I do not think I will be returning.
