I highly recommend the lo mein and beef with pea pods at this Chinese restaurant. The beef was tender and plentiful, and the flavors were fresh and delicious. While the ambiance may be lacking with paper plates and plastic utensils, the friendly service and tasty food make it a worthwhile dining experience.

My family has been frequenting this place since 2008 and we were very happy with the food. However, China Royal has actually improved since closing for the summer of 2014. The owners took a hiatus and went to China for several months, promising to return in the fall of '14. They reopened in October(?) but without any of the familiar faces were behind the counter. And, the food had changed--same menu but with more flair and flavor. I asked about the change in staff and was informed the store was under new ownership. So far the changes are great. The new recipes are very good and the prices are absolutely reasonable for my middle class sensibilities. I highly recommend this place.

The food is very good. The prices are good. The people are friendly. I treated myself to cream cheese wontons tonight. very yummy.

Food is exceptional! I eat Chinese frequently & continue to come back for the best tasting, quality, & pricing I have come across.
The remodel is amazing! Place looks great & food is even better than before!

I would NEVER get food from here again. This is the only chinese restaurant in new prague so i went and ordered fried shrimp and one more small item..i waited 25 minutes for my order!! i thought maybe it was jus a fluke so i decided to order from them again and all i got was attitude over the phone when i asked if they delivered because this website said they did. the food wasnt even great for me to suck it up and still order!! ( i just liked the fried shrimp!!)
