A lot of people seem to just assume Chula is sketchy, but I have always had a great experience! I have ordered and dined in, and have always loved the food! By far the best Mexican food in town, and one of the better restaurants in Winona--not that there are many to choose from--but I would definitely recommend it.

Alright, the other reviews so far were harsh so I had to write one. This restaurant is good, not phenomenal, but pretty damn good. If you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine in Winona, Minnesota, you're in a toughy, but Chula Vista isn't so outrageously off the mark. You won't get food poisoning from this place either. I've been there over five times and have only felt very full, not sick. I've enjoyed everything I've gotten off the menu too, so give it a try.

Myself and a friend went there for a burrito, and got food poisoning!

After four days of vomiting and diarhea, I'd say avoid this place.

Horrible food! Over ten dollars for a disgusting burrito. Very bland not at all authentic. Rarely saw waiter, staff too busy studying or watching tv or talking to be bothered by customers. I won't be returning
