The steaks here are some of the best I've ever tasted, with tender, flavorful ribeyes that require no sauce. The atmosphere is charming, especially during the holidays, and the service is excellent, so make sure to arrive early and bring cash!

Well, Both times we've visited friends and came here was SOOO disappointing!!
We got the steak but it was MOOING at us!!!
Took it back to reconnect it out just as bad it's a waste of money and time so disappointing

Food was ok, mediocre portions. I ordered the Captains plate and it was supposed to come with oysters but didnt find out they were out till my platter was delivered. Free ice cream with every meal was advertised but.. they were out. They are only open on Friday/Saturdays from 4pm to 9pm. Odd they were running out of stuff 3 hours into the shift on Friday. Also ran out of turnip greens! I would not go back or recommend. Wait staff was very friendly but the manager wasn't.

They accepted my credit card when we dined on 2/5/18 for a charge of $48.41. They sent charges of $48.41 and $484.10. I called the restaurant several times. Each time I was told they would issue a credit but THEY HAVE NOT. As of today, 4/16/18, this is still not corrected.

Read about this restaurant in Mississippi magazine so my husband Greg and I decided to drive down from Jackson on a Saturday and give it a try. Needless to say, we'll be taking that drive again and again. The steak had a great flavor and the BBQ shrimp was GREAT!! Service was friendly and the atmosphere was a welcome change. The only bad comment we'd make is, wish it was located a little closer to home!!! Also, be prepared to pay in cash!! No debit cards taken. Thank goodness they had no problem taking an out-of-town check!!! Can't wait to go again!!!

Heard this place was good and a great place to take kids...Well guess what?? after 2 hrs of sitting at table after we placed our order..the kids NEVER recv'd their food. We reminded the waitress numerous times about this..There were 6 kids ALL of them were cranky, hot and hungry!! No air conditioner and the service was horrible!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

LOST 60+ DOLLARS IN THE BILL. COULD NOT CUT THE RAW MEAT THEY SERVED FOR MEDIUM. MAMAGEMENT CONTACTED. ALL WAS DONE WAS MY MONEY TAKEN AND ASK TO COME BACK SOON....LMAO

I love this place. Their cypress lake combo is my favorite. I love the atmosphere and the people. It's a great place to eat!

We had a party of 14 and added 2 additional friends while we were waiting to be called. The atmosphere was great while the food was delicious. Among us, we ordered Catfish, Steaks, appetizers- the works. Our waiter was pleasant and talked to us as if we were old friends. Overall a wonderful experience. Will definitely go there again.

we had a party of 26, with 2 wks adv notice. They provided only one waitress and she had to make 24 salads as part of her other duties. The meal took 3 hours to complete. The meat was of poor quality with lots of fat and very chewy. The people near me indicated that there meat was undercooked too. Oh a big surprise at the cashier. We don't take plastic.

the only good part of this experience, we brought with us.
These all look like management issues to me.

There are too many other places to eat to have to suffer through again.
