The food was incredible, and the staff was super friendly. The history behind the place was really interesting, and the vibe was relaxed and fun. I found the best fried chicken in Louisiana there, hands down!

Over priced, the vegetables were cold, and the old man was rude and mean because I said I did not like the dressing which tasted soured. He asked me, "Where you cook at ?!", I ignored him, so he asked again, more loudly. My husband finally answered by saying, at home.....I asked why did he have to be rude and disrespectful to me as a customer....he continued to rant about the 25 years he's been cooking.

Not good at all , overpriced. They need a cook , anybody can pour something out of a can , I thought I was going to get some real country food.first time there, last time going!

Really the best Fried Chicken EVER! And I love making fresh fried chicken. The owner is the BEST. Very friendly. Low key atmosphere for that non-traditional visitor that loves going off the beaten road.
