For consistently fresh chicken, it's best to call ahead due to the busy nature of the establishment. The shrimp rice with soy sauce is a personal favorite, though the dish may occasionally vary in shrimp quantity. The gumbo is delicious but may lose its appeal towards the bottom, and the deep-fried shrimp can sometimes be lacking in flavor compared to the freshly cooked ones.
