So, I checked out this Nicaraguan joint called America Central Restaurant, right? When I rolled up on a scorching day, their AC looked like it dated back to the Nixon era and it was about as useful as a paper umbrella in a hurricane. But hey, the cerdo asado was legit - juicy pork with all the fixings. The churrasco also hit the spot, especially with those spicy jalapeños that packed a punch. Service was a bit all over the place, but the place was clean and the food tasted freshly made. Definitely gonna give it another shot, even though it's kinda tucked away between four freeways. And trust me, I'm a Nicaraguan born and bred - this place is the real deal.
