The food here is incredible, with the brisket and ribs standing out for their tender, flavorful qualities. Each dish is cooked to perfection, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for feeding a family. The drive-thru experience is efficient, and the friendly staff make the visit even more enjoyable, leaving me eager to return for more of their delicious BBQ.

The BBQ at Black Jaxx in Soldotna is absolutely amazing. The brisket, ribs, and sausage were flavorful and moist, plus the service was great.

Never went to Soldotna location, I live near Homer. I decided to give it a try one day, with low expectations, since others on the peninsula have been fair at best......Black Jaxx is Best BBQ on Kenai peninsula, maybe the state! Ribs are some of the tastiest I've eaten, and I've eaten ribs in many different locations in the U.S. I'm not much of a sauce fan, BBQ meat should be able to stand in its own, which this does, but even the sauce is excellent, along with their beans. They also sell the rub and sauces if you like to smoke your own. Looking forward to my next dinner there.....
