Located on the picturesque Lake Wawasee in Syracuse, Indiana, The Oakwood can be easily accessed by boat during the season, with ample parking available near the entrance. The menu at The Oakwood changes with the seasons, offering a variety of protein options along with delicious sides, salads, and appetizers for an additional cost, making it a great spot to bring guests and well-behaved dogs to enjoy the outdoor seating. The food was exceptional, and the attentive server, Shelia, made our Friday night date night experience memorable, further enhancing our enjoyment of the steak and lobster special, chicken Alfredo, oysters Rockefeller, crab cake bites, fried mushrooms, and the breathtaking view of the lake.
