I stopped at a local pizza place on my way to Florida and was impressed by the delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. The owner, Al, was friendly and his passion for good food was evident in the flavors. I enjoyed the live music on Friday night and look forward to returning for more of the great food and atmosphere.

Located on the corner of NW 150 Avenue and Main street in Alachua, Florida, Tony & Al's Deli is the place for great family oriented Italian lunch and dinners. "Al" gives a very happy welcome to all his guests. ("Tony" operates their deli in Starke, Florida.) Al's menu offers Salads, Sandwiches, Warps, Burgers, Specialty Pizzas, Italian dishes, Stromboli and Calzones, and a Kids menu (10 and younger). For lunch my friend had the Salmon Salad with Blackened salmon (highly recommended) and my choice was Tony's Steak & Cheese Sandwich with side salad. The ambience was very warm and inviting. The wait staff is friendly and very attentive to all the customer needs.
