Food always good

On Saturday July 31, we ordered a take out Michigan salad which we have had before and it was always ok.This time, about a third of the lettuce was brown and old, when I called to tell them about it, the person was very doubtful about my complain and very snarky and nasty, I hung up instead of arguing with her. She told me the lettuce was cut every morning. How does a restaurant get away with selling food like this? I do not appreciate paying for something that's spoiled. No more Jillians for me.
