Last Saturday, my son and I had lunch at Garvan's, an Irish pub housed in a beautifully restored farmhouse. The atmosphere was quaint and inviting, reminiscent of the pubs we enjoyed in the UK, although the food was somewhat basic compared to what I've had elsewhere. While I appreciated the attentive service and overall experience, I left feeling that the culinary offerings could have been more impressive.
