The flavors at this restaurant are truly captivating, with each dish offering a unique experience that transports you straight to Hunan. The spicy cucumber salad and Chairman Mao's Braised Pork stood out, harmonizing perfectly with the bold spices and pickled notes that define the cuisine. Despite the bustling atmosphere and occasional impatience from staff, the authentic taste keeps me coming back for more, especially the delicious string beans and eggplant.

The dishes I ordered for takeout were delicious - Kung Pao Chicken, smoked pork and bamboo shoot, pot stickers, and mustard greens. The kung pao had a unique twist with onions and green pepper, giving it a Hunan-style flavor. Every dish packed a flavorful punch, and I was left wanting more. The lunch specials I tried, including eggplant and string beans, and twice-cooked fish fillet, were also very satisfying, especially for the price.
